Night Out on the Town...

Upon Carole Cowley's (Steve's sister) suggestion, we purchased (half-price) tickets to A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, a musical,  playing at the famous Walter Kerr Theater in Times Square.  It was a humorous, farcical spoof-- the acting and singing were incredible.  Half-price tickets (that's another story) to many events are available to many, many events/productions and this production was one (theaters don't want empty seats).  The seating/view wasn't the best, side, main floor, but nevertheless we enjoyed the production immensely.

Before the show, we had the best fish dinner we've had since arriving almost 2 months ago, e.g. baked Cod and cabbage slaw at Applebees on Broadway and 7th Ave.  We're both losing weight by eliminating carbohydrates and walking, walking, walking.  We had yet to see an obese individual here.  Now we know why.  Living in NYC requires lots of walking and energy!!!

We couldn't resist going into the Hershey's retail store and drooling...see below.
Anyone want an authentic T-shirt from Hershey's? No calories in that!

Times Square is lighted with megatons lining both sides of the street for blocks and blocks.  Across the street from Hershey's retail store on Broadway was another one advertising the M & M Store.
