An Early Morning Walk In Central Park...now that we're on daylight saving time, the city becomes light about 6:00 am, and I was so happy I brought my Apple camera on the walk and captured some of the charm in this large and famous park situated a mere 100 yards from our apartment. The weather was a bit overcast, but that didn't impede anyone from running, hiking, bicycling, strolling, exercising, or merely crossing the park to the east side of Manhattan. I loved the statues and busts of famous people (which has pricked my interest of who donated the money to celebrate this individual or event and to further research
why so honored). See below...

Just another lovely fountain and park area for strolling, meditating and escaping from then bustle and noise of the big city. It was so peaceful and serene! |

Skyline looking downtown at 6:30 am across the former sheep grazing fields... |

Rain, sleet, snow or sunshine...lots of runners.
It is interesting, we RARELY seen an obese person. Walking surely must keep one trim and healthy!! |
