Everyday Sites and Sounds...

Central Park on a Sunday Afternoon-no dogs allowed

View of Central Park Southtown

Lots of cyclists circling the three mile park
A solitary man practicing his trombone in the Park

Famous renovated restaurant and gardens in Central Park...ate a lovely meal there.
100 yards away, 100 yrs ago, sheep graised in this meadow (now Central Park)
People, buildings, and dogs everywhere...all so interesting and varied...

Another view of Manhattan skyscrapers from Central Park
Each dog owner was only too pleased to have me take a photo of his or her dog;  we've never seen so many varieties of dog in our lives!  Each was so unique and smartly groomed.  Central Park seems to be the showcase of dogs and their owners!!

One of my favorite streets in Manhattan
We live directly across the street from ABC local television

Another lovely vertical housing choice, next door

  1. Does the city close parts of 5th avenue on Sundays? They use to for biking and strolling.
