THE POPE IS COMING...THE POPE IS HERE..AND WILL PASS 1 BLOCK AWAY FROM US...

After a long temple shift, we needed to stretch our legs and walked 1 block toward Central Park tonight. The city is preparing for the Pope's motorcade which will pass 1 block away from our apt.  

No parking allowed around the perimeter of Central Park.

Signs surround the park...can you imagine what all this protection is costing the city?

A 50 foot police van parked perpendicular to the park, just down the street from us on 66th street.  They are ready for any incident.

All for the Pope!  So happy President Monson is securely nestled in his humble apartment in SLC.
